How these are calculated (and what to distrust)

Expected value per order = bump price × bump take rate plus upsell price × upsell take rate. New average order value = today's AOV + that. Added revenue = orders × the added value per order. Enter each take rate as a share of all base orders that accept the offer, not just the shoppers who saw it — a dashboard that reports acceptance among viewers will overstate the lift here. The take rates are your assumptions, and they vary widely by offer, price, and audience, so treat the output as a what-if, not a forecast. Two things the model leaves out on purpose: it assumes the offers don't change how many base orders you get (a bump is low friction, but a heavy upsell flow can nudge it), and it counts revenue, not profit, so net the offer's own cost and any refunds before you bank it.
